Description
When nurse Amy Leatheran agrees to look after American archaeologist Dr Leidner's wife Louise at a dig near Hassanieh she finds herself taking on more than just nursing duties - she also has to help solve murders. Fortunately for Amy, Hercule Poirot is visiting the excavation site but will the great detective be in time to prevent a multiple murderer from striking again?
Nurse Amy Leatheran had a most unusual patient. Who or what did she fear? At the site of the Iraqi desert, surely she was safe from danger. Most of the expedition were old colleagues & friends. Yet they seemed an unnaturally formative group - there was tension, uneasiness even in the air. Something very sinister was going on & it involved murder.
Hercule Poirot is summoned to solve a case involving the murder of a seductive woman accompanying a scientific party investigating the secrets of ancient Babylon.
When the police are baffled by the sheer number of suspects in a murder case, they call in Hercule Poirot.
